How I got here
2020 - The Pivot
Graduating with a Specialist in Criminology in 2020, I found myself at a crossroads when the COVID epidemic made it challenging to find work in my field. With a natural proficiency for writing honed during my university years, I ventured into the world of copywriting and SEO content optimization through a recommendation from an industry connection.
This shift marked the beginning of my journey into the creative and digital marketing world, where I discovered a new avenue for my skills and interests.
2021 - Exploring Creativity
What started in 2020 flourished in 2021 as I delved deeper into freelancing, crafting content pieces that resonated with consumers and communicated ideas effectively. My passion for creativity found a new outlet, and my drive for learning led me to explore the realm of coding.
This newfound interest was a pivotal moment, expanding my toolkit and opening up a world of possibilities in web development.
2022 - Embracing Design
My determination to learn coding culminated in enrolling in a Web Development course at the University of Toronto, where I acquired skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React for full-stack development. I quickly fell in love with Front-End development, and knew my way around Server-side code as well!
Encouraged to explore WebFlow by connections at Drip Design, I dedicated myself to learning the tool. After many practice sites and tutorials, I found myself as an apprentice Web Developer - learning Webflow while aiding in Client projects for Design Agencies - namely, Drip.
2023 - Refinement and Growth
In 2023, my commitment to excellence saw me balancing work for Drip and my own freelance projects, with a focus on Webflow development and occasional copywriting. I devoted this year to honing my skills, experimenting, and learning, all in pursuit of becoming a proficient web designer.
This year was about laying a solid foundation for my career, pushing the boundaries of my creativity and technical abilities.

Now, my focus shifts towards expanding my horizons and forging new connections.

Project Request
It all starts with an email.
In this initial message, you'll provide the basics: the type of site you want, the nature of your business, and any expectations on the design.
Here is where we lay the groundwork, and ensure that we're on the same page in understanding your vision.
Step 02
The First Meeting
Next, we'll schedule an initial meeting to go over any specifics.
Here's a chance for both of us to communicate and ask questions - so that we both have a clear understanding of goals and how to accomplish those goals.
After this initial meeting, I'll provide a proposal that details project scope, timeline, and costs, giving us a clear plan moving forward.
Step 03
Drafting the Site
Once that's done, we move on to drafting the site.
Using Figma, we collaborate on the design, making adjustments until I reach a minimum viable product (MVP) that meets your expectations.
This process is flexible - you can choose from custom-designed templates, modify existing ones, or request something completely custom. This collaborative process uses your feedback so I can create exactly what you want. I'll be there every step of the way, and help guide you if needed!
Step 04
Development
Once the draft is approved, I move on to developing the site in Webflow.
During this stage, I keep the lines of communication open, providing regular updates and incorporating your feedback to fine-tune the development.
This phase is all about carefully building your site to match your vision, addressing any technical details, and ensuring a smooth user experience.
Step 05
Launch
As we near the launch, I'll conduct a quality assurance session to make sure every detail of the site meets your expectations.
Once everything checks out, the site can be launched on the domain of your choice.
Even after the launch, I’m here to help with any further assistance or development you might need to keep your site on track with your vision.
FAQ
What services do you provide?
Responsive web development via WebFlow (which includes creating sites from scratch as well as modifying existing projects), as well as copywriting, content writing, and rough planning via Figma! I will also provide consultation on drafts and existing sites!
Please note - as an independent freelancer, I am not an asset designer - when working with agencies that have a design team, we will work with them on creating custom assets for your site. Otherwise, you'll need to commission and obtain from third parties, custom assets for me to utilize!
Who do you work with?
My areas of expertise are with B2B (business to business) and D2C (direct to consumer) projects. While many of my clients have been tech startups, agencies, and larger businesses, I love helping smaller, local businesses as well! Feel free to send me an email and we can discuss more!

What are costs like?
The cost of a given project will vary greatly, depending on the amount of work to be done, and the many factors that dictate the scope of work. For revisional work, I charge based on an hourly fee. Development from scratch is priced based on number of pages, and factors like specific features that need to be developed for each page.
I am very flexible when it comes to price, and will not charge additional fees if there are any post launch essential revisions that need to be completed!
This is something that can be discussed and will be finalized by the end of the Initial Meeting stage.
Do you work internationally?
Yes! Please note that I am in the Eastern Time Zone, so my availability will be based around my local time.
How long do projects take?
This depends on scope!
The Figma rough draft will be delivered based on number of pages to structure - excluding revisions and the back-and-forth, expect around 4-6 hours per page!
Webflow development takes the most time, and once again, depends on scope. My projects typically take anywhere from 1-2 weeks (for smaller scale sites) to 2 months (for larger sites)!
